The tray holds the things you use most at the top of the console. When you need something from the deep bin underneath, lift the tray straight out and drop it back in when you are done.
In the video, the loaded tray lifts out to show the deep console bin and then drops back into the opening without tools or adhesive. The everyday items shown are not included.
Yes. Both layouts fit every Rivian R2 trim, so the choice comes down to how you like to organize your things. Neither tray fits the R1T or R1S.
You are welcome to test the fit. If the tray does not fit your R2, request a return within 30 days of delivery and send it back clean, undamaged and in its original packaging. Read the return details.
The tray rests in the angled console recess under gravity, so it needs no tools, adhesive or hardware. To reach the bin below, lift it straight out.
Yes. The tray sits near the top of the console, and the drawer and pop-out cupholders work as usual while it is installed. To organize the drawer itself, the Slide-Out Drawer Tray sits inside it and slides in and out with it.
Both trays are printed in PETG-CF, a carbon-fiber-filled PETG, and we inspect each one in Chicagoland, USA, before it ships.
Trays ship within 1–2 business days by USPS Ground Advantage and typically arrive 3–5 business days later. U.S. shipping is free on every Squared Away tray and set. Products from other makers ship separately and may carry their own shipping charges.
Yes. The Console + Drawer Set includes a Squared Away Console Tray in either layout and the Slide-Out Drawer Tray, and it costs 13% less than buying the two separately. You can also add each tray to your cart on its own.
After I took delivery of my R2, my sunglasses kept ending up at the bottom of the center console. I measured the opening and designed a tray that keeps small things near the top, and before long other owners asked for one of their own.
