Cables and power banks

This collection covers USB-C and Lightning cables, compact wall chargers and power banks for phones, tablets and other devices. A cable needs a powered USB port or charger and does not store energy, while a power bank carries its own charge for the times you are away from the car. Fast charging requires a compatible device, cable and power source, and a cable’s maximum wattage does not increase the output of your vehicle’s USB port.

Power banks should be kept out of direct sun and hot parked cars, so we recommend packing them for trips rather than storing them in the vehicle and following the manufacturer’s temperature and charging instructions.
