EV charging
The Level 2 home chargers in this collection use the NACS (J3400) connector, which is the same charging port the Rivian R2 uses, so they plug directly into the car without an adapter. For road trips, the LENZ CCS1 to NACS adapter lets a car with a NACS port, such as the R2, charge at public DC fast chargers that use a CCS1 plug.
Hardwired chargers should be installed by a licensed electrician, and the plug-in models need a NEMA 14-50 outlet on a 240-volt circuit. To arrange the work, you can find an electrician through Rivian, whose installation partners, Qmerit and Treehouse, can connect you with a licensed electrician in your area.
