EVIQO NACS Level 2 EV Charger, 40A (9.6kW), 240V, NEMA 14-50 Plug-In

The EVIQO Level 2 charger delivers up to 40A (9.6kW) through a NACS connector, which is the same charging port the Rivian R2 uses, so it plugs directly into the car without an adapter. It connects to a NEMA 14-50 outlet with a 37-inch input cable and has a 25 ft charging cable for reaching across a garage or driveway.

Installation

The charger plugs into a NEMA 14-50 outlet, and you can set the charging current anywhere from 6A to 40A in the EVIQO app to suit the circuit. Please have a licensed electrician confirm that your outlet and circuit can carry the setting you choose, and if you need an outlet installed, you can find an electrician through Rivian. Your local utility may also offer rebates on home charging equipment.

App and scheduling

Over a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection, the EVIQO app lets you start and stop charging, set the current, schedule sessions for off-peak hours and track energy use and cost. The charger receives firmware updates over the air, and an enhanced Wi-Fi antenna helps it stay connected in a garage or basement.

Build and certification

The charger is UL, ETL, FCC and Energy Star certified, and its IP66/NEMA 4 enclosure is rated for rain, snow, heat and dust. A side reset button clears faults without opening the unit or disconnecting power, and a high-visibility holster makes the connector easy to find and store at night.

Other vehicles

The charger works with any vehicle that has a NACS port, and EVIQO notes that vehicles with a J1772 port can use it with a NACS-to-J1772 adapter, which is not included.

EVIQO includes a 3-year manufacturer warranty, with a 4-year extended warranty available as an option, and provides U.S.-based customer support from Monday to Saturday, 8am to 4pm Pacific.
